Serving The Community

My Vision for Refugees organizes community outreach in the city of N'zerekore on a regular basis. This includes visiting hospitals, refugee camps, leper communities, widows and prisons to donate food, books, clothing, medical equipment and other necessities to improve their quality of life.

Meaningful Futures Live Here

The Home of Hope houses and sponsors the education of 16 orphans as of now, from 5-17 years-old and is located at N’zerekore, Guinea. The Home has a director, house mother, and house sister to take care of the children.

Education Outside of the Classroom

My Vision for Refugees holds a variety of day-long workshops for the youth and children in the local communities, featuring both experts and activities to address such topics as entrepreneurship, job opportunities, the importance of education, health and wellness, and HIV awareness.

The Most Essential Human Need

The first project undertaken by My Vision for Refugees was the boring and construction of a fresh-water well for the former refugees still living in the camp, now turned into villages, near N’zerekore.

Volunteering & Internships

My Vision for Refugees organizes internship programs where interns from anywhere in the world, spend 1-3 months in N’zerekore, Guinea and can teach in schools in the community or work in the banking or journalism sector as preferred.

Lessons of “The Beautiful Game”

There is nothing else on Earth that unites people like the game of soccer, far and away the world’s most popular sport. My Vision for Refugees is invested in the game, as well; creating youth teams in N’zerekore.
