Education Outside The Classroom
My Vision for Refugees hosts a variety of day-long workshops for children and youth in local communities. These workshops feature experts and interactive activities on topics such as entrepreneurship, job opportunities, the importance of education, health and wellness, and HIV awareness. Each workshop is designed to help participants build the right mindset and explore different pathways toward a successful future.
In addition, My Vision for Refugees equips the children of The Home of Hope with practical vocational skills. They learn trades such as sewing, hair braiding, welding, and shop management—skills that provide valuable opportunities outside the classroom and prepare them for self-sufficiency.
