Alumnus’ journey as refugee comes full circle as he’s named Friend of Freedom

In 2007, a teenaged Samuel Johnson and his four siblings were brought to Georgia from a United Nations refugee camp in Guinea where they’d been living in a tent for eight years after fleeing violence in Liberia.

Kimberly has over 25 years of concepting and executing impactful work for leading brands, challenger brands and start-ups. She’s worked with large reputable agencies  as well as boutique agencies.

Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Fine Art in graphic design from The Savannah College of Art and Design, then went on to receive advanced placement in art direction at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta.
