MVR Internships

In the spring of 2019, two Mercer student interns, Sarah Harris and Carrie Bezanson, spent their spring semester at the Home of Hope. A few of their activities included: coaching Home of Hope children in their academic studies; teaching at their school; interviewing the villagers about women’s and men’s views of each other’s role in their society writing research papers on their findings; completing water quality testing and sending data to Mercer engineering faculty; and serving as instructors at the University of N’Zerekore. We hope to have Mercer student interns returning in the future to help advance the good work at the Home of Hope!
