Mercer on Mission at Home of Hope

In 2018, in addition to the usual demanding duties of running Home of Hope, Sam hosted nine Mercer and two faculty members at the orphanage for three weeks. Typical activities of the Mercer students included: tutoring the children at the orphanage in both French and English; grocery shopping at the local market with the Home of Hope staff; planting the community garden; and interacting with the local community.
