Jeannette is a bright and compassionate young girl with a heart full of purpose and a mind eager to learn. She dreams of caring for those who are ill, and her love of Biology fuels that calling, giving her joy each time she opens a book to study or sits down to do her homework. She admires Samuel Johnson, whose deep love for orphans shows her what it means to serve others with sincerity and humility. Jeannette hopes to one day shape her community by offering medical care without expecting anything in return and by leading a youth organization that stands up for women’s rights and dignity. She imagines herself in ten years studying at a university, preparing for a life dedicated to helping others. Her hope for the future is rooted in the strong education she receives through My Vision for Refugees and in her growing faith in Jesus, whom she sees as her guide.
