Support Our Vision for Brighter Futures

Help Us Change The World One Loving Act at a Time

Give Hope to Those in Need of It

Our Mission

Believing in the inherent dignity and enormous potential of every human being, My Vision for Refugees strives to provide former refugees and orphans with opportunities for healing, growth and full participation in society. We do this through the provision of basic human needs, trauma informed care and opportunities for a quality education.

My Vision for Refugees, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) organization that gives hope and a chance at a legitimate future to former refugees, orphans and vulnerable children who need help in Guinea, West Africa. Our first orphanage, Home of Hope, opened in 2015 in N’zerekore, Guinea.

Sam’s Story

My Vision for Refugees founder Sam Johnson grew up a Liberian war refugee in the U.N. Camp at N’zerekore.

Home of Hope

Our orphanage provides education, stability, health services, nutrition, and emotional support to 16 young orphans and vulnerable children who needed help. They now enjoy a safe living environment, regular meals, medical care, and the loving support of a full-time house mother and support staff.

Our Programs

Education is at the core of My Vision for Refugees' mission but we also provide food, safe shelter, fresh water and much more.

“Hope can take you anywhere in life. We change the world one loving act at a time.”

— Samuel Johnson
